Weddings

"When you realise you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life

to start as soon as possible"

When Sally Met Harry

I can't wait to help to create your perfect 'big day'!

There are no limits as to what kind of ceremony you may have (so long as its legal).  You can have your wedding ceremony anywhere you wish - Indoor, outdoor, on a boat, in a lighthouse or on a double-decker bus!  You really can have the ceremony of your dreams, incorporating your own vows, written by you (with or without my assistance), readings, poems, music and perhaps a special mini ceremony within it.  Although it will not be a religious ceremony, I am very happy to incorporate religious readings or hymns if you wish to include them.

Some examples of special mini ceremonies that could be incorporated in your ceremony are:

Hand fasting

Lighting a Unity Candle

Blessing of the Rings

Sand ceremony

Children's rings

Tree planting

* Please note: currently in the UK you must be legally married by a religious minister or registrar.  However most couples who wish to have a celebrant-led wedding will arrange to go to a registry office for the legal element first, perhaps a few days before, and which only need take a short amount of time if you request the 'paperwork only' standard ceremony.  (You must also 'give notice' at the registry office at least 29 days prior to that ceremony).

You can then relax and enjoy the wedding ceremony of your dreams with your friends and family, wherever you like.

Please note: I am unable to conduct ceremonies that involve the releasing of balloons or sky lanterns.  They cause so much pain and destruction.  There are lots of lovely alternatives though, like planting a tree or lighting a candle.
